Studio black and white photograph of Ester Wyatt’s torso, lit to highlight muscular definition and water droplets

A single frame from a studio commission with Ester Wyatt, shot as part of a ‘Body’ series exploring form, texture, and light. Minimal setup, stark black backdrop, directional lighting — sometimes it’s about getting out of the way and letting the body speak. This image was one of those moments where light and anatomy aligned just right. Always a privilege to shoot work like this.

A dawn acro shoot in Corfu with Charlie and Will

One of those rare mornings where I managed to persuade both my wife Charlie and our dear friend Will Robinson out of bed at dawn. We were staying in Corfu for a week, and I had my eye on a jetty nearby that seemed to be begging for a photograph.

This wasn’t a commercial shoot, but nor was it quite a holiday snap — more like an itch that needed scratching. The light was perfect, the sea completely still, and Charlie and Will, both talented acro yogis, held the pose like seasoned performers.

We may not have made it back in time for breakfast, but the result was worth every yawning step.
