31st March 2015
The Moon Tonight – 31st March 2015. It really looks like a big lump of rock tonight. Something to do with the angle, a bit to do with the amount of shadow I suppose, but there’s no getting away from it’s big ball of rockness. Which of course should come as no surprise I suppose.

The Moon Tonight – 26th March 2015. The clearest night we’ve had for a while. Breathless and almost balmy out there, she looks fat and sharp. I’m amazed at the difference between two nights ago and tonight, I never really clocked before how much of a change there is every night. Oh to able to […]

I wanted to wait till full moon, but the cloud’s coming in tomorrow for a what looks like a longish spell, so it’s adieu to the moon for a while. She’s almost there, though actually I’m looking forward to her waning as she benefits from more cross light. Bar the whole ‘Ooooh full moon’ thing, […]
3rd March 2015
Rather a small and blurred moon tonight, but the moon nevertheless. I was down at Portland to take another shot entirely, but got blown and ‘sprayed’ off the cliff, so came leeward to snap this.
2nd March 2015
Barreling down with rain, a passing downpour on Kho Libong in Southern Thailand.
Think I might make this a regular thing, well, for as long as I can borrow the telescope anyway. Only just caught it before the clouds came in, by seconds, so rather lucky to get at all. Still a little obscured by cloud, but not that noticeable. The rabbit’s really clear tonight and the bottom […]
